Reliability Engagements
Programming consulting here is sold as defined engagements—not hourly helpdesk access. Each track below ends in written deliverables your team can audit.
Reliability review (document-first)
We map failure domains across services you name, inspect critical paths in code, and return a prioritized findings memo. Findings cite file locations and observed behavior; we do not invent test coverage you have not run.
Deliverables: findings memo, reproduction notes, suggested guardrails (feature flags, circuit breakers, backoff parameters) where they match your stack.
Active debugging (pairing-heavy)
For incidents that resist reproduction, we join your engineers on calls, drive bisection, and capture minimal patches or rollback guidance. Sessions stay bounded by a written scope so production firefighting does not expand without agreement.
Deliverables: timeline of experiments, merged fix or mitigation PR when access is granted, handoff checklist for on-call.
Implementation support (milestone-based)
When design is settled but reliability work stalls—retry logic, idempotency keys, observability hooks—we implement agreed milestones in your repository under your review process.
Deliverables: merged changes per milestone, short runbook updates, optional office hours during the stabilization window.
What we need from you
Read-only repository access or sanitized bundles, staging or trace exports, and a named technical contact who can approve scope changes. Fees and calendars are confirmed in writing before work starts; this page does not quote rates.
